I found the clay assignment fun to sculptor my own designs into clay tiles. At the start I had a large lump of clay that I then shaped into a reasonable size. I made 4 clay tiles I had to make sure that they where at least 3 cm's thick as I would want to dig into them to make an 3D effect to it. On my first tile I made an lizard using a small wooden stick I dug out around the scales to give scales a 3D look then it has been plastered. I focused mostly on the detail and spent more time then I expected on it. The second clay tile I made was a beetle and was also pleased with the end result but I didn't focus much on the detail and was devoted on the 3D effect on its shell. I was pleased with both end resulted and would like to someday sculptor with clay again.
